VP, Commercial Credit Underwriter III
Key Responsibilities
- Perform underwriting of new and existing commercial real estate, commercial & industrial loans.
- Perform real estate cash flow analysis, global cash flow analysis, and assess the financial condition of guarantors of such transactions.
- Perform underwriting of new and existing business loans, mostly for complex requests, to assess the financial condition, operating performance, and repayment capacity of such loans. Perform financial analysis, projections and industry analysis.
- Responsible for obtaining the necessary information in a timely manner from lending officers and other officers of the bank.
- Responsible for complying and adhering to the Bank’s Credit Policy.
- Responsible for completing the annual training program assigned.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business and/or Finance or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Seven (7) years of experience in the Banking industry as a Credit Underwriter in C&I, CRE, and ABL lending.
- Advanced knowledge of financial spreadsheet software.
- Advanced underwriting knowledge of commercial real estate and commercial and industrial loans, as well as specialized loans which include but are not limited to SBA loans, Asset Based Loans, Construction Loans, etc.
- Knowledge of lending activities including credit policies, procedures, practices, and techniques.
- Knowledge of related State and Federal banking compliance regulations.
