VP, Business Development Team Lead

Key Responsibilities

  • Contacts customers once the account has been established to provide the new account
    number and to introduce the name of the assigned officer and the bank information, as well
    as to promote the products and services.
  • Interviews walk-in customers to obtain information regarding their needs, inform the
    regulations and explain the proper handling of the accounts.
  • Travels to Venezuela to meet with prospects and existing clients, ensuring customer
    satisfaction to meet targeted profitability.
  • Processes Reference Letters when requested.
  • Reviews account files once the account has been opened.
  • Monitors the CDs maturity dates to call customers and inform them about the investments
    alternatives.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of and adherence to EEO policy.
  • Follows policies and procedures; completes administrative tasks correctly and on time;
    supports the Bank’s goals and values; benefits the bank through outside activities.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s in Business Administration preferred or similar.
  • Experience: Seven (7) to ten (10) years of experience in a financial institution international
    operation, customer service or sales, with managerial background.
  • Must be bilingual in both English and Spanish.
  • Basic knowledge of related State and Federal banking compliance regulations and
    operational policies.
  • Intermediate knowledge in branch operation activities, terminology and products and
    services.
