Human Resources Business Partner – HRIS
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) position is responsible for supporting the business by delivering one stop HR support with value-added service to management and employees. The HRBP supports their designated internal clients with a myriad of HR processes and initiatives. The position formulates partnerships across the company to ensure synergies, consistency and a high level of internal customer satisfaction. This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but does serve as a coach and mentor for the business.
Responsibilities
- Conducts regular meetings with respective business units
- Consults with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate
- Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies
- Guides and assists the resolution of employee relations issues
- Participates and consults in employee disciplinary and or termination meetings with managers
- Directs processes associated with talent acquisition including interview coordination and participation, external search firm management and recommendations of candidates
- Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development)
- Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
- Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation
- Liaises with HR Operations team regarding compensation models, engagement surveys, global mobility, HC reports and HR metrics
- Liaises with HR Operations team regarding payroll, onboarding and termination of employees
- Conducts process for new hire offers, promotions and transfers
- Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning
- Identifies training needs for business units and individual coaching and mentoring needs
- Acts as an ambassador for the company
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- Compliance with BSA/AML laws, rules, regulations and the bank’s BSA/AML policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Strong commitment to confidentiality
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Agile, Scrum or Six Sigma certifications preferred
- Banking experience is a plus
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential a plus
