Finance & Accounting Manager – Brazil
Logistics company in Brazil is expanding and is now in search for a Finance Manager to take care of the day-to- day finance / accounting / administrative activities.
Responsibilities
- Control Accounts Payable / Receivable in accordance with Group’s policy.
- Month-end closing tasks, including the revision of B/S accounts, and analysis of monthly results.
- Collaborate with the external CPA / External Auditors / External payroll firm.
- Review taxes calculations and pay all taxes in accordance with local laws and regulations, including personnel-related taxes.
- Verify and control intercompany transactions.
- Establish fluid communication and reporting with the country management and the leadership team.
- Comply with reporting, analysis, and communication requirements of Group HQ / Americas’ Finance team.
- Establish proper internal controls, making sure all processes are documented, and improving existing processes to achieve a better result, control and/or visibility.
- Coordinate and execute Treasury related activities in the country, establishing clear policies and procedures to protect the company against (cyber) fraud.
- Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts.
- Coordinate, deliver and control budget for company’s operation in Brazil.
- Liaise with payroll company to ensure correct and timely payment of compensation and
- benefits, as well as any retention / payment of taxes.
- Perform ad hoc analysis based on business needs.
